Why Japanese media don’t tell us about it?

Yuta Watanabe made his NBA regular season debut!

1st Japanese in 14years scince Yuta Tabuse in Phoenix Suns(Current team: Tochigi Brex)

This game was in Memphis, TN

Oppornent was Phoenix Suns. 

I was watching this game live. Then, I noticed this. 

“Watanabe is sitting on the bench with wearing Uniform!”

Watanabe signed 2way contruct; can play in Memphis Grizzries and Memphis Hutsles, this year. 

Therfore, he was always sitting back of the bench with wearing non-uniform. 

But, he was sitting onthe bench!

He could get a chance just a 5 games from begging of this season. 

To tell the truth, I was very exciting. 

Even Japanese is JUST sitting on the NBA bench. 

I hadn’t known that it was just beggining. 

In the game, Memphis always had big lead. 

Even Mark Gasol(super star of Memphis)backed to bench, everybody can made sure this game’s win. 

4Q 4:31 Then, historical time has come. 

Yuta Watanabe was onthe court!!!

Secound Japanese NBA player has born at this time. 

(Some media say “NBA debut” by sitting on the bench. But, decided to say “NBA debut” by stand on the court.)

Few minutes later, Watanabe scored points at the free-throw lineafter drawing a shooting foul on Suns guard Troy Daniels with a spin move to the bastet. 

Finally, his stats is 2pt, 2rb. 

Seen from NBA, it seems not so amazing. 

However, seen from Japan, this is AMAZING! Superb!

NBA has just started in this month. 

Now Memphis is 8th of Western. 

I want they play in Playoff

*btw, My most favorite team won against Detriot Pistons this day. But, I couldn’t set an eyes for it.  Lol
